Summer Registration changes include Virtual Waiting Room, expanded Registration dates

With the release of the Summer Brochure, Elmhurst Park District is looking toward the upcoming Summer Registration dates with the intention of ensuring users have a positive experience. The Park District understands many users were frustrated during registration this spring, and the Board and staff are being proactive in making changes. These changes include separating out gymnastics registration to reduce the high volume of traffic on the Park District’s registration software, and implementing a new virtual waiting room feature.

Step Interval

This class combines step and strength into one workout. By doing short circuits of cardio on the step followed by intervals of strength, you will leave feeling like you got an amazing workout.

Elmhurst Park District to remove mask mandate following Governor’s orders

Effective Monday, February 28, the Governor has ordered that the State’s indoor mask mandate be partially lifted based on declining COVID metrics. Barring any last minute changes, the Elmhurst Park District will follow suit as it has done throughout the pandemic by removing the indoor mask mandate in District facilities and programs for both participants and staff. Please note that Rec Station will continue to follow the guidelines as set by Elmhurst School District 205.
 

Indoor mask mandates lifting February 28

Governor Pritzker announced plans Wednesday to partially lift Illinois' indoor mask mandate by February 28 assuming state COVID metrics continue to decline.

The Elmhurst Park District will follow suit as it has done throughout the pandemic by removing the indoor mask mandate in District facilities and programs for both participants and staff. Please note that Rec Station will continue to follow the guidelines as set by Elmhurst School District 205.

Get lean with new group cycling class - RPM

Courts Plus is excited to introduce a new group cycling class, Les Mills RPM.

With Les Mills RPM, you control the intensity. With great music pumping and the group spinning as one, your instructor takes you on a journey of hill climbs, sprints and flat riding. 

RPM is a great way to build up your sense of personal achievement. You can draw on the group’s energy and find your rhythm in the music. You control your own resistance levels and speed so you can build up your fitness level over time. It’s a journey, not a race!

A personal trainer can develop an custom workout program for you that is safe and effective. Let the experience and education our trainers guide you on your road to success! 

Sixty-minute sessions are available, members may purchase 3-pack and 10-pack sessions online. Individual 60 minute sessions are $71M/$86NM and can be purchased at the Service Desk.
